Richard Starkings

Attention all comic book fans! We have some exciting news for you. Richard Starkings, the brilliant creator of ELEPHANTMEN, THE BEEF and ASK FOR MERCY, will be making an appearance at FarleyCon Pop Culture & Comic Book Expo.
Starkings is a veteran in the comic book industry, having worked as an editor, designer, and writer for various titles at Marvel UK, including GI JOE/ACTION FORCE and DOCTOR WHO. He’s also famous for his lettering work on some of the most iconic comic books of all time, including BATMAN THE KILLING JOKE, THE LONG HALLOWEEN, VENOM, and GENERATION X.
In addition to his remarkable contributions to the comic book world, Starkings founded the Comicraft studio, which revolutionized digital comic-book lettering. His studio’s innovations have helped create a new era of comic book production, and his legacy continues to inspire new generations of artists and creators.
This year, Dark Horse is publishing Omnibus collections of Starkings’ two Comixology series, which is an exciting opportunity for fans to read these series in print for the first time!
